COMMUNITY PLANTING
In school yards, on church grounds, in places of cultural significance, and in areas affected by natural disasters, ATP sees an opportunity to work jointly with local residents to create mini urban forests that are cared for by the communities they belong to.
To date, we have planted close to 1,900 community tree sites. Learn how this program works in the video below!
With this program, we provide climate-resilient trees, technical guidance and environmental education at no cost to communities across Armenia.
We work alongside the local residents, and together, we develop a sense of community ownership, civic engagement, and long-term ecological responsibility.
Our Community Tree Planting program combines reforestation/afforestation, environmental education, and social impact all in one.
Whether restoring parks, shading kindergartens or revitalizing disaster-impacted areas, the program unites people around a shared vision of a greener, healthier Armenia.
