Armenia Tree Project’s operational model is multi-dimensional and has impact built into its programs. By working within a framework focused on Sustain, Empower, and Teach, ATP is able to protect water resources, create better living habits, sustain communities and families, and empower individuals to make positive change.

With 25 years of experience and scientific research, ATP has developed state of the art propagation, planting, maintenance and monitoring systems that optimize tree growth and sustainability within the 11 microclimates in Armenia.
As a major employer in Armenia, ATP has helped dozens of families attain selfsufficiency by offering careers, jobs, and innovative programs that strengthen village communities while increasing economic independence.
Over 80 people are employed by ATP full time and
between 150-200 seasonally: over 35% are women

ATP’s tree survival rate is 70% in community areas and 65% in forestry – that’s 10% higher than the international average.
More than 23,000 students have been trained and over 200 schools use our environmental curriculum.
