USE OUR FLIGHT CALCULATOR TO ESTIMATE
YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT AND GO CARBON NEUTRAL

While we believe that the first priority should be to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, carbon offsets can be a great way to reduce your contribution to climate change when this is not possible. Many people are reducing their carbon footprint by planting trees to offset the emissions from their airline flights.

Try our carbon calculator to estimate the emissions from your travel. Trees sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as they grow, which helps to remove this greenhouse gas that causes climate change.

Here’s an example: Using the flight calculator, we estimate that a round-trip flight from Boston to Los Angeles emits 800 kg of carbon dioxide, and a round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Yerevan emits 2,300 kg.

Over the course of its growth in 30 years, a pine tree like the ones planted by ATP can absorb an estimated 660 kg of carbon dioxide, so you would need to plant one tree for a domestic flight ($25), and four trees for a transatlantic flight ($100).

We encourage you to try the calculator for your trip, and to plant trees to go carbon neutral!
ATP grows, plants, and maintains trees for a donation of $25 per tree. Click here to donate/plant your trees.
