If so, come plant trees with your peers in Armenia!

ATP’s dedicated environmental education team in Armenia will host and facilitate a tree planting experience for students.


Tree planting packages. Please choose one:


Choice #1 - Seed planting at ATP’s Karin Nursery

Set just outside of Yerevan with breathtaking views of Mt. Ararat, join us at one of our nurseries and plant your very own tree seeds.

1) Arrival at ATP’s Karin Nursery with an introduction to programs

2) Fun activity for US and Armenian students to get to know each other

3) Short Karin Nursery tour

4) Tree planting with seeds in a cup

5) Snack provided by ATP

6) Armenian school environmental education presentation


Choice # 2 - Bucket tree planting at community tree planting site

Travel to one of our spectacular tree planting sites and transplant a seedling with a friend. ATP must make sure that this site is suitable for planting beforehand.

1) Arrival at planting site with an introduction to programs

2) Fun activity for US and Armenian students to get to know each other

3) Team tree planting- 1 US student teamed up with 1 Armenian student per bucket to plant the tree

4) Snack provided by ATP

5) Armenian school environmental education presentation



School Responsibilities


We ask that all school chaperones, please dedicate a minimum of 3 hours for tree planting visits. It is expected that the chaperones from US and Armenian schools will reinforce proper behavior at all times. The schools should honor the commitment that they make and notify all parties involved as soon as possible if any changes within the schedule occur.
